Türkiye's Culture Portal identifies Amisos on Toraman Hill northwest of the center and documents its ancient settlement, Baruthane tumuli and royal tombs; the current Samsun Museum brings finds from Amisos and the wider region together. Build the central waterfront story first, then give Amisos, the museum and Bandırma route honest travel and visit time. Treat Atakum, the Kızılırmak Bird Sanctuary and inland Amasya as separate choices that depend on current opening or access information, weather, terrain, suitable transport, accessibility and a protected return. Trabzon's Sumela and eastern Black Sea highlands remain a different destination plan.
