See more than the headline sights.

Bon Voyage treats a destination as a connected world: history, neighborhoods, food, nearby escapes and the port or route that brought you here all belong to the same journey.

A LIMESTONE LANDMARK ABOVE A FORTIFIED MEDITERRANEAN CITY

Gibraltar works best in layers: city streets, Upper Rock and the open Strait.

Visit Gibraltar places the territory at the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula, where the 426-metre Rock overlooks the western gateway to the Mediterranean. The compact city route links Casemates Square, Main Street, Irish Town and layers of fortification. Above it, the Upper Rock Nature Reserve brings together the Great Siege Tunnels, St Michael's Cave, macaques, lookout points and steep or uneven terrain. Europa Point, the Alameda gardens, Catalan Bay and any journey across the border belong to different route scales. Choose a coherent cluster, then verify current opening, admission, cable-car or road operation, weather, surfaces, accessibility, border status when relevant and the protected return.
