Patmos Cruise Port & Skala Arrival Guide

ARRIVE WITH CONTEXT

The port is only the beginning.

Bon Voyage connects the arrival point to the city, region and experiences it actually unlocks. That means understanding the port first—then deciding how far the day should reach.

ARRIVAL STORY · SKALA IS THE GATEWAY, NOT THE HILLTOP DESTINATION

A Patmos cruise day begins at sea level in Skala before it becomes an uphill island journey.

The Municipal Port Fund of Patmos published a July 9, 2026 decision concerning cruise-ship passenger port fees for Patmos and a February 20, 2026 decision on operation of the Skala passenger station. The municipality separately identifies Skala as the island's port and visitor arrival point. Those official records establish a real cruise-passenger gateway without proving one berth, anchorage, tender or landing process for every call. Confirm the assigned arrival mode, passenger station or landing, accessibility, meeting point, transport and final return before combining Skala with Chora, the Cave of the Apocalypse, the monastery or a wider island route.
